It’s Always the Ink’s Fault

   Wednesday, March 16

   8:30 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.

   Texas Ballroom

About This Session

Do any of these common pressroom scenarios sound familiar to you?

  • The ink sent to press from the inkroom doesn’t match on press. We just spent three hours shading it over—It’s the ink’s fault!
  • My vignettes are fading out to a hard break. I can’t match the proof—It’s the ink’s fault!
  • We’ve been running this ink for three shifts, now it won’t dry fast enough—It must be the ink’s fault!
  • We’re chasing our tails every day, on every job. Our print process seems to be completely out of control. There’s got to be some way we can manage our operation to run more smoothly and produce predictable, repeatable color. No matter what we do, it’s always the ink’s fault!

Join Ed, Moe and their presenters to learn more about the root causes of these and many other pressroom issues that are commonly blamed on the ink. Hear from a converter who has taken steps to get its processes under control to prevent those issues from happening.
