About This Session

About Noal: For about three decades, Noal has worked in the printing field. He started off in a small flexographic label shop and moved into offset printing, then moved into wide web flexographic printing. Noal started from the ground up at ABX as a press assistant. He then became a press operator before stepping into training and trained all new employees. Noal then took over as night shift supervisor in the press department; from there he accepted the press technical supervisor role.

About Nicole: Nicole has over 25 years’ experience in packaging and flexography. She has managed various production teams, served as a global product support manager, and currently is a packaging developer with Target Corp. Nicole holds a bachelor’s degree in graphic communications from Clemson University, and is a FIRST Implementation Specialist.

About Brad: Brad graduated from Appalachian State University with a bachelor’s in graphic arts and in technical photography. After an internship at Sealed Air, he was hired as a production artist in 2006. Brad has held several positions in SEE’s Graphic Services Department, but has found a home for the last 12 years in color management. He’s passionate about the subject, contributing at several conferences and seminars with a focus on process control, expanded gamut, color management strategies and digital proofing.
In recent years, his focus has included inkroom formulation strategies and the integration of digital printing into SEE’s large flexographic network. His daughter is known to regularly point out color consistency issues on grocery shelves, and comment on light temperatures.

About Mickey: Mickey handles sales in the Southeast region (North & South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama and Florida) as well as international sales (excluding Canada). This includes sales calls, orders, service and technical support. He also is the technical manager at Interflex, giving support to the sales team, production team and other customers through problem solving, reading prints, using volume reading equipment, scopes and cameras.

About Paulo: Paulo holds a chemistry degree, a Ph.D. in sciences-polymers, and an M.B.A. in marketing. He started his career as fellow researcher on semi-conductive polymers at EMBRAPA (A Brazilian Government Technology Research Agency), and then moved to the private sector, leading R&D, product development and technical service groups on industrial coatings, printing inks and pigment dispersions in LATAM, moving then to Allnex (Former UCB-Cytec) where he has held multiple positions being the latest as technology director – Latin America for all business units, before joining Flint Group as R&D director North America, and more recently moving into the global key accounts technical director role.

About David: David is a highly motivated and dedicated individual with a passion for problem solving and client relationships. As market manager for Wikoff Color since 2018, he develops and executes flexographic plate market strategies for Wikoff Color in North America and South America. He also recruits, trains and develops skilled individuals, and is responsible for all sales in North America and South America.
